Our 2017 1940s Weekend was held on the 12th & 13th August.

- The Spitfire Spares, MkIX Spitfire again formed the centre-piece of the weekend. The Spitfire started up on the hour throughout the day. The 4pm start-up was done by the winner of the daily draw.
- Tavistock Model Flying Club put on model aircraft flying dispays.
- Displays of vintage farm & garden machinery
- Living History and Re-Enactment displays throughout the day.
- There were also tours around the area in a vintage double-decker bus, (Sunday only) plus guided tours of the airfield in the Tavsitock and District Ring & Ride minibus.
- Entertainment through the day from Bernard Stewart with Mood Swings.
